With a larger group of 27 tourists, we spent three nights with half board at Huszár Guesthouse in Sárospatak. To everyone's great satisfaction, we slept in rooms with comfortable beds and enjoyed varied and delicious dinners. We also had the opportunity to gather in the evenings for some conversation and wine.

Comfortable beds, spacious terraces, plentiful breakfast, homemade, excellent cuisine, and friendly, helpful owners. The bathroom could use some hooks for towels to dry on. The beautiful lavender plants create a wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately, the lawn in the garden where children could play football or badminton is not mowed, making it unusable. The evergreen trees surrounding the garden have dried out, so they need to be cut down and replaced.

Cleanliness everywhere, polite staff, well-equipped rooms. The breakfast in this category is fully satisfying, and upon request, we received warm egg dishes and extra bread. The dinner was also fresh and tasty, and it was possible to order half portions. The area is quiet, perfect for relaxation. The garden is very atmospheric, with even a small playground. The city center and the Castle are only close by car, about 20 minutes on foot. Of course, this is not the fault of the guesthouse, so I recommend it to everyone. It's perfect for 1-2 nights!

We stopped by for lunch with my partner. We had fish soup and cottage cheese pancakes with vanilla sauce. We both enjoyed it! I recommend the place to others as well!

As a returning guest with a group, I left satisfied once again. The food is very delicious and plentiful, with the owner’s homemade wines and brandies being the highlight. The service is attentive, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

We organized our wedding dinner here and were extremely satisfied with everything, including the food and service. The portions were incredibly generous, and everything was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant for events or even just a regular dinner!

A clean, pleasant guesthouse... We originally planned to stay one night, but the accommodation was so ideal and the staff so helpful that we ended up staying three nights. It was worth it.
